FoTR Always holds a special place in my heart. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/inlove.gif

Samwise Gamgee was my favorite character though, and he sure shined in RoTK, but still, the first movie was just the best. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Gosh, that was so epic!

I really need to watch those movies again. They are just so well made! It brings tears to my eyes watching the battle scenes, they're just so incredibly made. Those movies are definitely works of art. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

TECHNICALLY they're all one movie split up into 3 parts http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

but RotK was by far my favorite...except for every part with frodo and same because they were boring as hell. and elijah wood sounded so dull and bored when he talked at the end.

I'm not voting, because I'm not sure if I liked the first or third one best. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif But I love the movies, one of the best trilogies ever. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

1st one... least mistakes in that one...

I think I liked the third one best, RotK. But man...

I couldn't stand Frodo in any of the movies. It sucked so bad having to listen to him complain... Ugh... I hate that character...

Unfortunte he didn't get shot in the face with an arrow or anything...

Lol http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/agreepost.gif

Frodo really p.o.ed me. In the end, after all that cra.p Sam did for him, he still betrayed him. He deserved that finger-amputation....http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

@ alderbranchh: you ever go to moviemistakes.com? All of the LoTRs have horrifically high mistake counts....and it seems the more expensive the movie's budget, the more mistakes it has.http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Titles that top the charts are PoTC: Curse of the Black Pearl, All Harry Potter movies, and all LoTR movies. You'd think they'd have better editors to catch them with all of their money....http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

No 'none' choice? I watched FOTR, and about halfway through I smashed the DVD player.

Seriously. I had to buy my family a new one.

No, that was a while back. I hated the movie. All I did to smash it was pick it up and throw it down. Result- pieces of our DVD player scattered on the floor.

Lol, that's happened to our DVD player before we got an XBoX. My dad was watching something on it and then he got up, started walking, bumped the DVD player, which fell off and broke into the main body and the case. The DVD inside was a rental, and it smashed into pieces....we still haven't been back to that Hollywood video.http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Yeah, but I did it on purpose.

Random story:

One time I slept over at a friend's house on Friday. My mom accepted- on the condition I show up for Sabbath the next day (the Jewish day of worship is Saturday). I sleep in late, and it's already started.

I panicked, twhipped a comb through my hair, threw water on my face, put on decent clothes, scribbled a quick note to my friend (still sleeping) and race towards the Synagouge.

But, I'm starving! So I run into a nearby McDonalds, and speed to the front of the line. Everyone is all pissed off.

"Hey, I need breakfast- fast! Give me the special!" I say quickly, my words barely ledgible.

In less than thirty seconds, they put something down with a coffee. I give them a five and tell them to keep the change. I race out, slurping coffee and spilling it on my self (OW!)

Finally, I get into the synagouge. I slip into the back, and begin to eat my "breakfast".

To my horror, someone beside me noticed that it was an Egg McMuffin! Which contains HAM! Oh god, she made a huge deal out of it, calling me the devil and hitting me with her cane (she was an old lady).

I try to explain, but clearly, everyone thinks I'm a traitor to Judaism.

After that, we decided to go to a Synagouge on the other side of town.

Lol damn....but you actually do eat ham? It didn't kill you, now did it? One of my jewish friends from 2nd grade used to think it would because his mom told him it would. I can see telling your kid not to eat it, but making them deathly afraid....that's wrong.http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

I ocassionaly eat pork (my parents don't know). It's really good, but I can't eat it. I'm so going to hell for eating any at all http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Plutonium_Kenny

Then maybe you shouldn't bring them down to NC. We have BBQ....which is pure pork and the flagship meal of the state. Your parents might kill you for suggesting it or they might accidentally eat it and find out, then be cast out forever.

I've been damned since I was born. I used to eat porkchop biscuits when I was 1 and a half.http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

But you're not Jewish..... right? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Ahh, if we ever went to Raleigh, I'd make my parents stay in some hotel room ande go to your house and eat all the pork I want....... IT'S SO GOOD!!!! But forbidden http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Nope, I'm a non-denomiational Christian.http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Well, in my religion swearing is forbidden, but I still do it....though I've been trying to stop it. Apparently I've failed desperately. So if you want some good ole' BBQ ribs (which only taste good IMO if you use pork ribs, because beef ribs are too tough) and BBQ, come on over and keep your parents busy doing something else, like checking out the synogauges (sp?) in Raleigh.http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I did some searching, and Peter Jackson has the most mistakes of any director according to moviemistakes.com. With just 6 movies, he has more mistakes than Steven Spielburg with God-knows how many movies....pretty sad.http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

sam_fisher091
08-17-2006, 11:56 PM
LOL yeah, I don't like Peter Jackson. Why the hell did he make King Kong so long?

Synogauges is spelled right, and I can say something like this:

Fraser: "Hey Mom and Dad, why don't you go see the Empire State Building? I'll see you in a few weeks!"
Dad: "Son, the Empire State Building is in New York:
Fraser: "I said GO!"

(Fraser's parents scatter off, leaving him free to go to Kenny's house)

Lol, that's like 900 miles awa....oh, now I get it.http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I didn't watch King Kong solely because 1.) It's a remake and 2.) It's a big budget remake. That combo means terrible movie.http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Just let me know if you like regular or tangy sauce.http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

sam_fisher091

Regular, unless tangy is good. Is it?

I'm gonna use my 12-Gauge and Desert Eagle money and buy another 9mm, a .45 and a .22 for sure http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Plutonium_Kenny
08-18-2006, 12:09 AM
I like 'em both. As long as it isn't spicy, I like them both.http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

And don't buy a 9. They suck. Go for something like a .357 Magnum. If you have one of those, you'll fit right in at NC.http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Fellowship of the ring. The other ones were full of fightscenes which become boring after a while. Seriously RoTK was nothing more but a massive hack n' slash fest. They could have just showed one fight screen over and over again in my eyes and I wouldn't have seen any meaningful difference.

Definitely the first one. All that food at Bilbo's birthday sure looks good.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.

Get's my vote, because the battle at Helms Deep kicks ***. First one was kind off boring to me, although nice too. Third one was more of the same....

*Judged on the movies. Haven't read the books*

Yes I check it out to compare with mistakes I saw usually http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Still with cheaper movies theres less to screw up ^^

I want "Bored of the Rings" made into a movie not to mention "the da vinci cod"...

i thought you were allowed to eat pork if it's blessed or something or rather
