Just reading it at the moment, great read telling both sides of the story of the war in the Atlantic.

Guess some of you lot may already have read it, however this was my first book covering the topic.

So, there you go http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Not heard of it before - sounds good! (http://www.amazon.com/Bitter-Ocean-Battle-Atlantic-1939-1945/dp/0743229290/sr=8-1/qid=1158864421/ref=sr_1_1/026-6988901-4024434?ie=UTF8&s=books) It's now on my Amazon wish list.

I'm about half way through it as well. It's a quick read, large text, a few repeated passages so each chapter flies by pretty quickly.

The author gets a little flowery at some points, but it has a lot of details about specific ship sinkings and the kinds of things that the British, Germans and the merchant marines were all going through and seeing at various stages.

It's a good read and a neat cover. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
