In the game the speed at sea level is set to 428 KPH i cant get it above 400. The speed at 4700m is set to 478KPH up there i can only get 360KPH out of it even with supercharger at 2 anyone knows what im doing wrong???? i have tryed out prop pitch, mixture but simply cant get it to fly at those speeds...mucth apriciatet if anyone can help me out

AFAIK, you must keep the plane straight, so try engageing the level stab. and watch results, If necesair, dive until you pick more speed then max, and then level out and fly straight(level stab again).

well i have done about everything to get it to go above 400kph, then i have been browsing alitle on the net and found this, and with all due respect to Oleg, something is wrong with the brewster, i can not get this out of the FB B-239 but take a look for your self

At 4750m 370kph IAS is very damn close to 480kph TAS. And yes the rated numbers are given in TAS.

You can easily get the Brewster to reach and hold 370kph at 4750m or 420kph at sealevel with a full fuel load.

The F2A1 was nimble and stable with a decent punch but fast it was not. 950hp or less really doesn't help in that department and honestly look at it, it doesn't scream low drag coefficient now does it.
