Currently, I have an optical mouse, while it is good for playing FPS games and surfing the internet, it just sucks for IL2. Problem is that when I play IL2, I put the joystick where the mouse would normally be and I put the mouse close to my left hand so I can fly and look around at the same time. There is very little room for the mouse and setting the sensitivity higher doesn't help. I'm thinking of getting a USB trackball while still having the optical mouse connected. Would this be possible, I know that laptops can have a touchpad and a normal mouse at the same time, but how would a PC react to two inputs? Would it work at all?

I guess I might give it a go then...

Now all I need is a cheap trackball.

If you can't afford trackIR, and if you have webcam, you can try FreeLook from http://freelook.org/ - using webcam and with some effort you can have a little of trackIR for much lower price http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

My XPpro machine has

a chordless logi USB mouse
a chorded logi USB mouse
a N-52 pad USB
x-45 USB
Microsoft FFB USB
CH USB pedals
a Logi Keyboard USB
Thrust Master Steering wheel USB
Track IR USB

Hooked up all the time, no problems.

Point is make your addon perifials all USB and you will have plenty of luck.

I did add a USB PCI card to do this. Instead of using a USB hub.

Try this (http://store.yahoo.com/saitekusa/recprod.html)

If that doesnt work then Best Buy has X-45s on sale for $58 after a $20 MIR.

What Bearcat99 is reffering to is the X-52's mouse built into the thottle grip. But if you go that route, wait a few months until they fix that jittery little bugger. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

How do I reset the universe? ....I have been trying for weeks now but just can't get it right.... Have tried systems recall but this only bumps me back to Friday night, and I'm getting sick and tired of going though Saturday's hangover ALL OVER AGAIN!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

Also is it posible to set up a parallel universe? Would my grahpics card be able to handle this (Ti 4600)? .... Also, can I get both universes to run on one monitor?

Please reply quickly as the mother-ship is on it's way.... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
