Hey Oleg, do you think you could add directional arrows in cockpit view? I feel like a cheater when I fly a whole mission in no cockpit view, but flying in cockpit view is still to tough, you think you could try something on this basis?

That would be nice. I like to use arrows instead of padlock but hate to use the magic window view to do so.

BUMP
I really like the arrows in cockpit view. The cockpits in this game are so beautifully done, I hate flying with them off. Great idea!

I was totally laughed at for asking for asking for ability to turn off "directional arrows" in the NO cockpit view.

I see now that this MIGHT BE BETTER OPTION. But it does take away the ability to surprise at least the on-line opponent. I dont think the FULL REAL flyers will use this on-line.

I fly "no cockpit" most of time. But the ablility to "surprise" an on line opponent is impossible in no cokpit cause of arrows. If we could turn offf the "arrows" in no cokpit then surprise would be possible.

All this may require much programming that makes it not feasibile? I would really like if Oleg would say yes, no or maybe on this issue once and for all.

Good luck on some kind of OPTION change.

this could be useful for easing the transition from no cockpit to full real while allso evening the odds against AI, especially in clouds.

As a matter of fact, if you had arrows in the "in cockpit" view, you could do away with padlock, IMO.

Arrows are made obsolescent by bullets, and have not been used in action by Western forces (i.e. US, UK, and Yurpean) for about 350 years.

I like the transparent strut concept, but the horizontal struts should perhaps remain opaque, as you cannot see past them as your eyes are also horizontal.

tell me you dont fly kiddie settings? NO dont add childrens arrows to the cockpit, i prefer to fly it by looking, this will just make it a childs game, you will be wanting a inflight respawn point next /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
