a dumb question, but if i have bombs, how do I actually drop them? I thought CTRL-T, but that does not do anything, now I'm confused...
Thanks!

If I remember correctly bombs are weapon #4, while rockets are weapon #3. Just check what key is assigned to them in the game. Maybe default keys were spacebar and alt+spacebar.

On a side note, after checking your key mapping (bombs are Weapon 3 or 4 can't remember now), note that on some instances you wont be able to drop all your bombs (or rather all types of bombs) if you select unlimited ammo.

Ju-87 is one such plane - it can carry for instance 4xSC50 + 1xSC250 bombs on racks under wings, and you wont be able to drop 250kg if you select unlimited ammo. Dunno why is that tho.

And don't drop them too low - you must get far from the impact especially when you drop a large bomb.

Ah yes. Myself and another ran into a sneaky devil in a P-38 in a certain PTO server that would goad us into chasing him at treetop height, then release his bombs when we were near shooting range. We each got blown up in 2 different engagements. Quite inventive really.....

You can set the bomb delay on the "Arming Page"
I set mine to 1.5 sec
This should keep you from blowing your selfs up.

If all else fails the "Control E" is always a good option http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

WV </div></BLOCKQUOTE>simply set the delay to 3 or 4 secs.

I use 4 secs myself.

Heard of 'Quick mission builder'???

Get off your arse and do some testing yourself with changes to your control options until, using external view, you see the bombs fall from your aircraft.....or don't you know how to find externals too?

When night flying I'd set the delay to max (10 secs), this enables you to be far away by the time the bombs go off, so ensuring that you are not picked up by flash reflections on your plane.
