you are not going to be interested in this post, but the 357th will be hosting a series of DF and Co-op's under the Server name: Full_Switch.

In Co-op's we allow for externals, so that dead pilots can 'watch the movie..'

If Full Switch is the natural progression of your virtual online pilot, then come check us out.

Those who are interested in finding out more can register on our forums at http://bm357.com.

Further, if you require training or would like to join our squad you may APPLY HERE (http://bm357.com/application.htm)

The more FULL Switch servers the better.

Is the Fw-190F8 included? Or in other words, which are the German ground pounding?

Btw, we are now creating new flights in the Blazing Magnums for Pacific Fighters.. Each flight leader is submitting a name for their respective flight.

I'm thinking of going with Rhinolicious, which is something that just came to me out of the blue.. What do ya think?

I prefer speedbar since it's not a "baby" setting and many planes have airspeed indicator that are too small to read. Can't tell how fast you are going. It's a necessary good, not evil. Also you can't read or even see many compasses. Being able to tell how fast you are going is particularly important on an approach to a carrier landing. Where you ahve to fly just barely about stall and fly a precise speed. And in planes with the high seat view, even if you normally could read their airspeed indicators, you wouldn't be able to when in the high seat position for the landing view!!! I say speed bar is a good thing.

We dont have a problem with any of that at Full Real. You just get used to Full Switch, like anything else. Just takes practice.

But speedbar's all good. Not knocking it. We use our guages effectively to navigate, dogfight, trim, make carrier landings and everything else..

S~ though mortoma, thanks for the input..

Perhaps because Rhinolicious IS dumb, sounds dumb, it doesn€t ring well with the era, and it has a rather lewd undercurrent to it. Lol.

At any rate, my flight€s gonna go by €œJester€ which will work just fine. Or what about €œJesterLuscious€ or €œLuscious Jester?€

it sounded good up until the part about externals being on. i don't like to have enemies toggle my external to see where i'm gonna attack from. you can't sneak up on anyone. might as well have icons on and padlock too.

rgr,

It would be nice if there was a "spectator" mode that would allow for externals only when in the ready room, or dead.

But, as it is, in co-ops, the very nature of co-ops lends to some pilots "finishing" before others, either because they get killed, or their objectives can be completed before another flight's.

For this reason, we have to rely on the "honor" system so that we can allow those pilots that aren't flying to watch the action.

Rgr.. I hear that. In DF's I'm all about no externals and 100% Full Real.

In terms of co-op's however, I guess I'm used to flying with my squadies in co-op's so I never think about someone actively using Ctrl+F2 against me...

I just figure people would rather stick around and watch if they are shot down? What about you?

If I'm hosting, for example, and get shot down, I think I would go crazy if I couldn't watch via F2. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

Then again, if enough of the full real pilots said go 100%, then I would be more apt to do it.. As long as I didnt have to host... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Oh yeah, btw, here's the logo for the new Jester Flight within the squad:

to clearify my comment, i was referring to DF servers and not co-op missions
