Are there any WWI flight sims out there? After watching a program on the History Channel about aviation in the first world war, I have to urge dust off the old sopwith and go for a spin.

When TK says "light sim" that is only to side-step the rough handling and Molestation that Oleg gets. TK has one less FM programmer than Oleg, and Oleg has only one. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif TK does this Development all by himself I think. For the aircraft and systems TK has time to go deeply into, the results are far from "Sim Lite"(tm).

Are there any that have been released, or are near release (like a couple of months)?

And has anyone tried that Silent Hunter III game, I've read a few reviews, but I want some first hand opinions.

SpitfireSeafire:

My father loves it, despite a few annoying problems here and there. I'm not a naval kinda guy so I haven't really played it, just passing the word along. Ironically, he's not an air warfare kinda guy... It's odd, we both like sims, but we're on opposite ends of the spectrum.
