It reminds me of Secret Weapons Over Normandy, which many old SWOTL addicts thought would be a modern sequel. I can't tell you how pi**ed off I was when we all found out it was nothing more than an arcade game- and a bad one!

But these folks don't seem to make any pretense of being flight simulation designers. That's good.

I liked Secret Weapons over Normandy despite it being an arcade game. I thought the starwars references were great. Sometimes its nice to just have some fun without having to think to much.

Freinds watching me play IL2 often comment " I would fly the plane from the outside view" thats what alot of peeps want, the fun dogfighting not the technical reality.

I bought Secret Weapons over Normandy because I thought it was the long awaited SWOTL sequel also and I was very dissappointed (I couldn't even tell you where that CD is anymore. I am sure that it is lying around somewhere in the bottom of a box with a bunch of other junk on top of it).

There were 4 CD's, but take note you can't trust a Lucas game to be real or even have D-Day in 1944, The game says mission 15 (last mission) is D-Day with 12 engine German super bombers and Nukes + May 15 1945 as Op Overlord http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif(wars end)It also is very much "America and the P-51 won the war".
2nd worst video game I ever played http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
