The Battle of Forli ends in Jan 1500, and Sequence 14 takes place in 1499.

Sforza loses and is captured by Borgia's son, who later becomes admired by Niccollo Machievelli and employs Leonardo DiVinci. He is the Prince. He should be an ememy at first, then get defeated and turn to the Assassin's side.

Bonfire of the Vanities takes place in Florence in 1497.

I really hope they keep being somewhat historically accurate.

If they really wanted to make both DLC 12 and 13, Forli would be 13 and Bonfire would be 12....but then a simple patching of Sequence 14's date to make it take place later.

but people already know when 14 takes place, it would just be a bad move to change the date

The "Battle of Forli" might revolve around the assassination of Girolamo Riario's (Caterina's husband) in 1488.
