Been there several times, and I must say the most important location to visit there is definetly Venice (Venezia), which is one of the most unique and interesting cities in the world. Most landmarks from the game still stand to this day, and the gondolas still look very much the same http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Apart from that, surely Florence (Firenze), which was where the Italian reneissance began. Rome is a must-see too, you'll have plenty of time to go through the most important sites there (though the city is huge). Monteriggioni and San Gimigniano (hope that's the way they spell it) are excellent locations to visit too, since you would recognize them pretty well because their depiction in the games is quite accurate and many buildings remain standing there from Ezio's time. IMHO you can definetly skip Naples (Napoli), which, quite frankly, offers very few attractions and is a considered a city suffering from a high crime-rate (and besides that isn't very good looking either). Also you can visit Trieste which is across the gulf from Venezia and is an interesting city with lots of history and impressive reneissance architecture as well. Driving to Trieste you get to go through the countryside of northern Italy which is amazing and dotted with many small villages (or you can take a boat from Venezia). And if you still have time you can visit Verona (another interesting city in northern Italy) and see the balcony where the Romeo and Juliet story takes place http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
All in all, lots to see in Italy, I wish you a fun and happy trip!

Don't know about tips but for me I'd love to see Rome and all the ancient architecture there. Mostly the colosseum, pantheon and all the ancient egyptian obelisks. Of course I wouldn't forget Florence or Venice.

Anyways, have a good trip and maybe take some pictures and post them when you get back!
