Who else would like there to be some more western europe campaigns, like over France, Great Britain, and stuff like that. I personally would like a "Battle of Britain" campaign because i havent seen any game do it justice. Some D-day related missions might be interesting as well if they are done right.

Who's with me?

Well, in the latest interview (that I have read anyway) with Oleg, he said he wanted to do every theatre (or words to that effect) depending on publishers etc. So if he gets to do it then I am sure we will get there, it would be fantastic.

I'm with you:

Battle of Britain (although EAW was great for its time)
North Africa/Mediterranean

My entire squadron and just about everyone I know and fly with want the BOB. Some really love the Pacific theatre because they love island hopping, etc..

But we all agree that Battle of Britain will give us all we need to live happily ever after..

By the way, I did emulate a D-Day Invasion with the "Gulf of Finland" map. I set it up for a co-op, but need to grossly reduce the number of AI, because 1 frame every 3 seconds ain't cuttin' it..

My biggest problem with the IL-2 engine for BoB is that you can't handle huge numbers of aircraft. Modern CPUs just can't keep up with the AI and every other demand. /i/smilies/16x16_robot-sad.gif

That would be awesome though I think a D-Day mission would be boring since the Allied had total air supremacy by that time in the war unless you were ground pounding in a P-47!

I think 99.9% of the simmers would eat up a channel map with a spit addon.
