Wondering how or if it is possible to turn off those annoying radio voices in off-line missions, or to modify them to make them more appropriate for the mission.

How many times do we hear those people with British accents shouting "ATTACKING WITH ROCKETS!!!" or saying something about "an airfield beyond the river", etc,etc...

They seem to repeat every 2 minutes or so.

It's especially annoying when playing a mission taking place in Russia or somewhere where there should be no British pilots around.

I tried to modify settings in the Sound menu but I cant make it work. Suggestions?

Turn off "in flight music" in the sound menu. I think you downloaded this sound file with a campaign. Look for it in the main directory of FB in "samples"-"music"-"inflight". If my assumptions are correct, delete it if it annoys you or replace it with a more convenient file (there are ready-for-use downloadable files at netwings etc.). http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif
Hope this is it...

You can go to the IL2 setup page and click the sound tab. then there is an option to turn off radio chatter. Or go into the config and look for the line NoChatter=0 change the 0 to a 1 then save it. That should do what you want.
