Look up "padlock" in the manual.

I have two things I'd like to say. I apologise for being so negative.

1) I have no idea what you're talking about, and I've never encountered it.

2) Wicked forums? These forums are s*#t. Places like il2skins.com and the new PL are much more friendly and more willing to accept newcomers. I hope to see you at one of those sites. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Btw, do you need a squadron to be in? If so, the Fighting Irish would be glad to take ya in. Check out the site here:

It is called padlock and you pressed the F4.

You can press it multiple times to track diffrent aircraft. It should track friendly and enemy aircraft so, you still have to identify whom you are chasing. If you have enabled external views, you can track enemy planes by pressing F6 and track friendly planes by pressing SHIFT+F6.

this works in outside view only.

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye
shall be judged: and with what
measure ye mete, it shall be
measured to you again.

Yeah, that sounds like Padlock. For me the triangle was always green though... Anyways, Pressing F4 will padlock enemy aircraft only from the cockpit. Shift + F4 will padlock friendly aircraft from the cockpit. For that to work though, the aircraft has to be in sight. If your target maneuvers below the nose then you will lose padlock.

There is also a key (don't know what it is because i don't use padlock much) that lets you center the view quickly while your padlocked.

F6 and Shift + F6 are for external padlock.

If this is enabled on the server your playing on, then feel free to use it. If it's disabled then you have to use the hat on your joystick, or the mouse.
