OK!

We are at a great start. So far we have four confirmed and OFFICIAL contributors to this great project:

JG77BlackWulf 2 - Ireland Voice

Killjoy2K2 - England Voice

AaronGT - England Voice

Chadburn - Canada Voice

altstiff - Canada Voice

Still need THREE more actors! Please send me a PRIVATE MESSAGE with your E-mail address if you think you can commit to the project until its complition and want to join!

I have finished typing the first 'voice actor' script for IL2:FB ACTOR 1 (236 call in total)! Took me almost my whole evening. It is now being reviewed by Mikeyg007 (RAF Aviation History Consultant) for it's correctness in regards to RAF pilot lingo during the war. I will send the script to it's corresponding 'voice actor' soon after I receive the reviewed 'voice actor' script for ACTOR1.

Lets keep the ball rolling and comitment of finishing a good project!

I would, but I don't have any recording equiptment.

I would have been able to do the Australian voice, or an English one.

I,d like to commit to the Australian voice if the slot is still open

Best regards,

Great thing you're doing - I'm sitting here with an 8 track Fostex recorder & mixer but my English is crap! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
Just glad someone is doing it. Btw - do you know how many speech files FB will support - I mean will we need to swap folders or have you talked to Oleg&Co about an official implementation - because it would be really cool to have both Yanks & Brits working together in one mission.

Although i said i shan't be able to commit, if you are struggling for a Scottish voice sample then i might still be available... The reason i said no was, as you said, because i didn't want to make promise i could not keep.

I would PM you if i knew how, unfortunately i don't. Can anyone tell me so i can talk to NTESLA privately?

Cheers

My mike is working now so if you want the South African voice I can give it a go .

I can't get the pm to work it keeps opening the discussion window so I guess I have to put my email here .

simsie@netactive.co.za

ps .do you want the recordings in 8 bit mono or 16 bit mono ?

Hello Stickmonkey,

Definitelly would be great if you are really into making this project go. I really would like to have a Scottish voice in the pack, currently I do not have one, so if you up to it then let me know today..by sending me a private message (look on the top right corner of the forum page, you will see it) with your Email address so I know that you are willing to comit to the project.

DedEyes,

Good! Believe it or not I have also another S.African in the group! His call name is Redshift1. I have added you to the comitment list. You will receive your 'voice actor' script when I am done with it, I am typing each one, there is 9 voice actors in IL2:FB and each has aprox. 160 calls! So I have much typing to do. I already finished the first and largest script (236 calls) for Actor 1 and it's being reviewed at the moment.

Let keep the ball rolling! Great to hear so much support from this community! Thank you.

The 'voice actors' positions, a total of NINE, are almost filled but I would like to have backups just in case I need them. I will post an update today of what is happening and who is in the RAF Voice Pack.
