Someone here further believes that Japan is a bad place to position the story in Assassin's Creed III?

It's too big a risk to change the aesthetic of the game in the final game.

Although I think Assassin's Creed 3 could involve desmond going around the world (looking for 12 temples, I think) and Japan could be one setting. Although that would eliminate big cities to work in, as twelve different free-roamable areas would have to be small.

Provided they bring back the social stealth from AC1, expand on it a little more and promise to not go over-the-top with the combat & fancy contraptions & whatnot and focus more on espionage and stealth, I'd be looking forward to Japan.

But then again I don't suspect Ubisoft would be pulling that off anytime soon.
