Has the snorkel bug fixed in GWX2? I ask this because the last time i played SHIII i had to give up the fight around '44 because of the lot of spawning planes... I always got bombed no matter what i did...http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I did see an interesting post from a Subsim member that told of constant air attacks on the deployed schnorkel head, which strangely reduced in intensity when the U-Boat recharged on the surface! This seemed to affect only the type XXI for some reason, but your post sounds like you're driving something else.

Try recharging on the surface in daylight: it gives your watch crew a better chance of warning.

Hmmm. I played SHIII a year ago. That time we had this snorkel bug with the type XIXD2 and with the XXI too. I dont know whether the bug fixed with the GWX 2.0 or 2.1 supermod... so that i shall give this game another try... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I've a vague recollection of GWX having this fixed (not sure though). You could ask at Subsim - lots of GWX folks hanging around there. S!
