I bought Assassin's Creed 2 on friday and the game is amazing.
I've played for 15 hours, yikes. And I have not completed even half the game yet.

It's alot of fun.
How many hours in total did you spend?
And did you play from the beginning (new save) anytime?
If yes, how was that compared to first time going thrue the game?

I can't see myself playing it from the beginning again, I think.
It seem there is just too much to explore, to do.

I'm currently on my 12th play through, I have no idea how much time I spend on each but I always sync viewpoints, collect codex pages and chests, and do all side missions before moving on with the storyline at each location. Sometimes I collect a few feathers along the way but I have 1 game at 100% so thats good enough for me.

Even after Brotherhood comes out I'll probably still play through ACII every now and then, I'm also on my 3rd play through of AC.

It's clear that you enjoy the time spent in this game. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Did you start on a new game before you completed your first one 100%?
And beside from gathering viewpoints, vodex pages and chests, side missions.
Do you put up other goals for yourself?
Like one new game where you decide to actually never die, play really good (and try to keep that goal thrue the game?) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Did you die thrue the 100% game you have? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Death from falling counts, hehe.

My goal was always to have the 100% game done before I moved on to a new one.

Currently I play with no HUD and always notorious, I use landmarks as reference points to find my way about the cities(with the odd look at the map of course http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif )

I use the least amount of armour possible and only hand in codex pages before I move onto a new location. Also, I keep the health potion pouch at 5... personally I think you should only be allowed to carry 2 but thats just me. I favor stealth over brawling and enjoy toying with guards and using all techniques possible to turn a situation to my advantage. It's also good practise for the Brotherhood MP!

I'm not into the block/parry style of combat and if I do end up in a brawl I tend to be quite aggressive, standing about and waiting bores the bejesus out of me...

I think there is only 2 playthroughs I haven't died on and the 100% isn't one of them, I've only died twice in combat, the rest have been from falling.

Ever since I played the first Tenchu years ago I've been obsessed with the stealth genre of gameplay, without a doubt AC is the peak of that genre.

I love zee game yah!

You really love this game http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hm, I'm going to start all over even tho I've gotten 15 hours played on my first game.

I think there is alot of things I want to do differently in the beginning and going to use this new game to get 100% complete http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif with time, no rushing thrue the game!

But I have to say, this game. Assassin's Creed 2 got a very, very good script, I mean the conversations and everything just seem taking from a Oscar winning movie.

I just think the conversations, the story have a fine balance. Don't feel so unrealistic if that make any sense to you, or anyone? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Haha, maybe I am just pumped up about the game as it's new to me.

Well I am off to start on my new game and this time, I'll have 0 deaths and I'll show you! In the future, hehe.

By the way, is there any "extra content" beside those episodes from Marketplace? I mean I see I can write in a "code" on the menu to get exclusive content, somekind? PLEASE NO SPOILERS, just point me in the right direction to get the content (if possible)!

What edition of the game did you buy?

You can download the Auditore Family Crypt from Uplay (http://uplay.uk.ubi.com/) along with some other minor upgrades if you've completeled the game and recieved the achievement points.

The new complete edition contains all previously released content including the Templar layers that were originally only released with the Black Edition.

Played it 2 and a half times.

Then I beat AC1 twice again.

Beat that one like 7 times.

I got it... two days ago I think? It SAYS I played for twenty hours... but I beg to differ.

I have Sequence 13 : Bonfire of the Vanities & Secret Locations and the Sequence 12: Battle of Forli.
I guess that is all I can get at the time?
But please don't post any spoilers http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Well completing the story missions + getting all the seals + all the feathers + all glyphs + all codex pages and all side missions except some assassinations took me a little over thirty hours http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif GREAT GAME

I've played it Five time, each time I try to play it a little different. For example, I might try to play high profile one time, other times I want to be as stealthy as possible.
This last time I played, I tired to get every all the special items, view points, and complete special tasks in each district before I moved on with the story.

I've played more than six times through, so I know I've clocked in way over 120 hours.

I'm not quite sure... but I'd guess quite a lot since I just randomly explore the cities and complete assassination tasks. We got the game in december and i didn't complete in till February, mainly coz i was busy.
I've probably spent loads on AC1 though. I dodn't know how many hours exactly, but I'm replaying assassins creed 2 anyway.

I just completed my first play through yesterday, then spent the rest of the day in a daze. Took me 27 hours to beat it, being a casual gamer that's pretty good for me. Still haven't got a 100% on it and I'm working on getting the DCLs.

Played through four times and over 80 hours and 100% on Save Game #1.

Finished AC1 seven times with over 50 hours, all flags collected. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
