Hereby I would like admits to give that I do not search any longer more modeler, which continue working to the do335.

http://www.luftwaffepics.com/LCBW4/Do335-A12-110s.jpg

We started the project approx. one year ago. Unfortunately Fjay and Xanty had which successively to the Do335 worked both technical problems (hp Crash/Virus).

I started the Projetk very positively adjusted, bought books of plans and began a Hompage to make.( www.do335.de.vu (http://www.do335.de.vu) )
Despite setbacks I have again and again try more modeler to inquire and motivate. Unfortunately without large success.
Also I tried to learn 3d max by books, which placed itself as very with difficulty out however with zero knowledge.

Meanwhile I have stopped to out-watch still further.

With this Thread I would like to inform all people, which so strongly have waited for the do 335 like me. So that they still on the do335 do not continue to wait.

It is so unfortunate without such a great airplane. Hopefully the do335 will be abble to fly in a future simulation.

regards falkster.

I'm just as anxious to fly the 335 as anyone. Don't give in and buy CFS3, just because it has the 335 in it. Trust me on this, it's terrible.

bump

& pls don't lock this one /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif . Maybe even Oleg picks it up... would be too bad to have all that work for nothing.

As 'special' planes of WWII go, this is one of the most peculiar and worthy of implementation - it would be thrilling to see how she flew (and how quickly she would shred bombers in the Zerstorer configuration...). I too hope it gets picked up.

The CFS team has started development of CFS4, hopefully they'll learn their lessons from CFS3 and get it together on the next release...

You still may fly the Do335 against my P-51H Stang after all. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Have you considered making it a ground object?
I think it should be noted that I beleive FJ also could have started work on this project (hard drive failure).

Thank you for your effort.

This aircraft should have ample research materials available from Dornier too - they restored one of the 335s not long ago.

I too wish someone would take up the Do-335 project. Gib stated he thought the 335 was ugly, plus even after the P-38 and P-63 are finished,he still has the interior of the Catalina to do, no small task... So it looks to me that unless Gib just decides to be gracious, one of the best modellers of this community won't work on it....
