Simple question, how do I load custom campaigns?
I'm having a problem with 'war in the desert'.
Storm Clouds 1 and 2 installed ok.

Any help appreciated.

Every campaign needs it's own folder, try to put the mis.files in a new folder.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Gidday,
If it's a normal 'static' user-made campaign then you often have to manually copy the folder with the name of the campaign on it into the appropriate nationalities Campaign folder. Icefire's Stormclouds campaign files were well labelled so that you could unzip it and they'd go to the correct places.

Say the campaign is "109 Goodness". Open the downloaded folder and keep looking until you find a whole group of files labelled 109Goodness_1.mis,109Goodness_1.prop,.. and so on.
These contain the mission data and briefings. Paste this entire folder into relevant country's Camapaign folder (in this case "DE" = Germany).

To find the campaign folders go C:/Program files/ Ubisoft/Il2 forgotten Battles/ Missions/Campaigns/DE

If you want the custom skins to show up you'd also have to copy and paste them into the appropriate skins folders.

It'll only take a few minutes from start to finish. A good idea is to make a shortcut to the main IL2 folder so you can get there in one click and manually copy and paste stuff.

If it's a DGen campaign, like the default ones, then it's much the same process but it won't run if you don't have the correct version of DGen installed. I don't understand this myself. SimHQ has info on this.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
