Sorry if this is old news,but I thought I'd mention it,esp. with the crash.

It looks like old airfield/wreck site hunting has a 'classy' name now,"Aviation Archaeology" (http://aviationarchaeology.com/src/AFrptsMO.htm),as far as the wreck sites go;and in my mind they might as well consider the 'old airfields' (http://www.airfieldsdatabase.com/WW2.htm),and even aircraft factories (http://www.acepilots.com/planes/factory.html),historical sites-the few that have remains.

It's pretty interesting to look for the ones in your area. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
