For those wishing to simulate the Spanish Civil War, Invasion of Polish, Battle of France and Low Countries...and subsequently the clashes between the RAF and LW over the Channel, and the Battle of Britain (we might all be dead in 2005!)...please can we have the 1939/40 pre-up-armoured versions of the Stuka and He.111?

I can't imagine it would take a lot of extra work...both models already being available, but the extra scope it would provide us campaign builders would be enormous.

If anyone else feels the same way, please add your comments as well.

Thanks

Yes, I agree. It seems like it would be one of those 'minimum effort' additions.

The most popular (and fun) d/f I ran was just such a '1930s' game. I had two fictional nations either side of the water in the 'Finland' online map. One side had P.11s and early I-153s, with TB-3 bombers; the other had early I-16s and the 'new & revolutionary' Stuka.

Hardly anyone used the P.11s; it was mostly an I-153 v I-16 fight, with the odd TB-3 'battleship' floating through /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif I had a great time in the 153, but I started getting feedback that both sides should have the 153, so I swapped over and tried the I-16, which I found was even better (slightly fewer kills, but virtually no deaths in it).

Anyway, I thoroughly recommend the set-up (must do it again soon), although if everyone flew the I-16 'properly' (B&Z style) it might get one-sided. However, that isn't going to happen, so why worry about it? /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

The Stuka Ju-87-b2 and the He111-h2 and H-6 are early war bombers.
The He111-H serie stardet parallel wiht the he111-p serie
The diverance is only the engine`s , H serie was using the Junker jumo 211 engines and the P serie the DB 601a engines.
He111p-1 enter service spring 1939 followd wthin a mere matter of weaks by the He111h-1.
The H and P serie`s were used in the poland campain and followd by the atack on denmark , Norway , holland , France and England.(349 were P1-2 and 3s and 400 were H-1s in the poland campain , in norway the H-2 enter service toghter wiht the P-4.)
On the BoB campain the H-1/2/3 serie olmost completely supplanted the P serie (although -ps were retained for staf flights , reconnaissance and meteorological work).
Only in the civel spaniche war the used older 111 models.
H-6 enter service in late 1941 , and last H model was the H-23 in 1943 ,
The last big action from a he111 was in russia on 21/22 june 1944 the poltava airfield , used by the USAAF as shuttle base for the B-17`s and P-51`s.

Hope it helps u wiht this info so u dont have to ask for early war he111 and ju87`s anymore.
u have tham in the game lol.
