has anyone heard Dolphins yet ? i was enroute to get more supplies from a milk cow in the CC grid , and i picked up these odd squeaking noises , well i flew right past the milk cow , diving , surfacing , diving etc... chasing this oddball noise , when i got closer , hit the external cam , and there it was riding the waves , one single dolphin , or porpoise , for the people who get mad when you call them dolphins.

I have seen the occasional screenie, with Flipper and his mates playing in the bow waves. I also heard once about sea-life sounds built into the game, but have never actually seen or heard them myself - yet.

LOL! Yessir. I'll bet that many still don't believe that we actually put animated whales with appropriate sounds in GWX.

If found, can we use a contact trigger torpedo, or will we have to have decent weather for the deck gun? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif

(on a more serious note, will these mammalian aquatic obstacles damage the boat if accidentally rammed? ROFL! I just had a vision of a pod of whales herding a U-boat to the surface and waiting anti-sub ships.)

OGW, in actual fact, during the anti u-boot war, several accounts were recorded of whales being depth charged.

That poor whale must have had an awful headache the next morning. Oh, and he might also need a hearing aid.

My next request for the GWX team- how about adding belly-up fishes after depth charge explosions? Free, fresh food source for the escorts, or the U-boat if you manage to get away.

Speaking of which, IRL, do you think that after 3 weeks at sea, a U-boat would lob a couple HE shells into the water to do some "fishing"?

How does a Homing torpedo perform on a whale or dolphin? I got a PT boat once, but it was fun watching the chase for a minute or two.

I suppose that would depend upon their level of flatulence
