Only about half -a-dozen production aircraft flew before the end of WWII.But what the hell, she's so pretty that's got to be a good enough reason to see her in FB!

I would like to have had ago at modeling her myself, but I'm afraid that I just don't cut enough mustard when it comes to 3DSMax.
I've got a fair bit of data on her, with a nice set of Mike Keep plans to-boot, there's enough of them left to get all the info you would need. Just need a nice, fast, friendly modeler?

What do you think?

With the p80 comming the vampire would be a nice addition and is very basic to model. I rather see the vampire more then the gloster meteor anyday, I hope they do something to the p80 and me262 b1 komet when they all arrive as of now they are far to manueverable and thier elevator at 700-900 seems to have 0 sense of stick pressure.

Early war jets were very difficult to fly and had alot of vibrations in the control surfaces rudder elevator and alieron and extreme stick pressures at the speeds they could achieve even in later early war jets like the mig15 and f86

the russians need a jet for competition as well I'd say the mig I 300 which was russias first jet which used bmw turbines.

Still another never/harldy seen service plane like the b1 but to keep things even

Italians first jet Campini-Caproni which was developed before the germans but delayed causing the germans to have the first operational jetfighter

Not a true turbojet, but a jet engine aircraft for sure.

Leadspitter, the commies don't *need* a jet for anything. To begin with many of their planes are damned UFOs already and perform at near Jet level.

Furthermore, the commies were not capable of making jets of their own until *after* the war when they had captured 262s and Jumos to play with and copy. And even then they didn't really get anywhere until they had some Rolls Royce engines to copy.

Finally, you're wrong aboutthe F-86 Sabre Jet too. Well....let me rephrase that...you are in contention with real F-86 pilots on the difficulty of flying them and the stick pressures.

Not to mention I have doubts about yout comments regarding the 262, sounds like you want it to be utterly immobile. But, I don't use it enough to really argue with you on it. So I won't.
