I bought a pair of these. A word of warning. I found them to be tight on the ears and and the impedance beign such that my amp wouldn't drive them very loud.

In the end I sold them, repaired my old sennheisers and added a condenser headset mic. (Looks horrible as I used gaffa tape, but the Sennheiser I had are comfy and sound good so I wanted to keep them after trying the PC150s).

An alternative might be (see www.studiospares.co.uk (http://www.studiospares.co.uk))
BEYER DT234 PRO HEADSET (42.50 + VAT)

(There are a whole host of otherones for 100 plus though if Santa brought you lots of money for Christmas.)

Eeek I just looked at the link. I hope I haven't just shot off my mouth and damaged your chance of a sale, MiKi40. If so I am very, very sorry.

I got my Sennheisers brand new from here:

http://www.ecost.com/ecost/ecsplash/shop/detail.asp?dpno=265386

Not a bad deal huh? Beats pretty much anything else.

Love them and love the freq range. I am now able to position planes by listening. Amazing.
It works well with my Turtle Beach Santa Cruz card (which uses zero=zilch processor power).

My only gripe is that they have an extremely thin cord, almost like the ones on circuitboads, and finish lacks in quality. But thats what you get for Fabrique en Chine these days. Sound is great though.

Go get an AKG set for 10 times more if you want. That way you have everything. Forget the edimensional ones, cheapish construction and i just plain hate them because they resemble the cxxp that coaches wear.

Sry, that's all i know.

If I read the specs correctly Miki, those Sennheiser earphones are the NON USB connectors.

Theones WITHOUT the USBs are a great headphone mic combo.

Seems the USB version couldn't get very loud and sounded distorted.... Sounds like what Aaron found out.

good luck with the sale.

Robert
