Their SDK is free. http://www.goflightinc.com and very easy to use... would be nice if future releases supported this popular flight sim equipment...

That actually would be very nice to see, though it would likely require a significant reworking of the FB input system.

Perhapse the next sim.

Actually, it wouldn't require any changes to the input system. An external DLL could be written similar to what was done for TIR. There SDK is simple to use and since the devices are HIDs (like a keyboard) it would only require the game to recognize them as alternate input devices--which should easy to do externally.

Internal to the code they pretty much just would need to add the code to start the dll--which they already do for TIR and other dlls they are running.

IL2/FB is the only major flight sim on the market that DOESN'T support them...

No offense..

But how would this be helpfull in a WWII sim? Isn't it autopilot, comms, and trim? You can do the trim with a homemade box full of potentiometers (or i'll build you one to spec for a small fee+shipping and handling)

These are what we need supported...

Autopilot, comms, and trim are but one set of controls. There are also toggle switches for various functions, gear, flaps...

Not to mention that with a GF-P8 and the GF-45 you could set up a bombsight adjustment.

Yes, I could build a box of homemade pots...but why should I when I already own better equipment? and then it would only be for trim?

The GoFlight multi-quadrant throttle could also be used for driving the big bombers with realistic throttle, pitch, and mixture controls.

The simkits are a nice addition as well, but they are only gauges. I don't have much trouble reading the gauges in game but I am running out of easy to remember key combinations for all the various settings...
