Yep you just have to asign the paint you want ot the aircraft you like in the FMB (full mission builder) Just open the mission click on the AI's that are in the mission and then change their properties. It will tak a little time but it can be done. Good luck enjoy. It make some incredible screen shots having the custom paints involved.

moq1, you must used unmarked versions of skins though as the computer will still put appropriate markings on aircraft.

You have to open the campign file (located inside your DGen folder) and find all of the planes listed that are present in campaign. For example;

12 FW-190A-5
23 Yak-9T
8 La-5

*Note* The number before the aircraft is simply the number, or the likelihood that the plane will appear in missions in the campaign. You can increase or decrease this as you please to make a plane appear more, or less in any given campaign. You can also add any plane to a campaign by simply adding it to the list of planes, just make sure to add a number in front of it and make sure it is typed/spelled as it is in other campaign folders. In other words make sure if it looks like Bf-109G6LATE in one campaign file, that when you add it to your campaign file it is spelled exactly the same. You could have Me-262's flying in 1941 campaigns if you want!!! And you can make it flyable if you wish and selectable in campiagn!! (ask me how to do that later as my fingers are getting tired). *End Note*

Back on track though......then pick the plane you want to add the skin to, make sure the skin you want to add is in the right folder (your 190A-5 skin is in the 190A-5 folder) or your campaign may not run.

Now add the name of the skin as it appears in your skins folder and put .bmp after it so it should look like this:

12 FW-190A-5 Nowotny.bmp
8 La-5 Khozebub.bmp
23 Yak-9T myskin.bmp

..with Nowotny being just an example of the name of the skin you want to add. Adding skins may not take effect until you start a new campaign though I'm not sure.

I add skins to all of my campaigns, it takes time but it really tranforms the game as it looks amazing. Hope this helps.

I have the guide on how to do this saved on my hard-drive along with other campaign change options, though I don't know how to post it sorry. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Planes 3

Skill1 0
Skill2 1
skin0 2087-CmdAsaltLazarMunteanuGenishek1943.bmp
skin1 2087-CmdAsaltLazarMunteanuGenishek1943.bmp
skin2 2087-CmdAsaltLazarMunteanuGenishek1943.bmp
numberOn0 0
numberOn1 0
numberOn2 0
Class air.HS_129B2
Fuel 75
weapons Wa-1xBK37

Here's an example of what to do.

The "numberOn_" command controls whether markings are applied to a skin.

As with many things to do with missions, it's much, much faster to load the .mis up in a text editor and do it than it is to do everything 4 times in the FMB's GUI.

Two little addition to Kyrule's post, the file is called (depending on your campaign) CampaignName.DB (example: Leningrad.db), open thse with a .txt editor, like Notepad (and resave it as a .txt file), and the format is like this:
## AircraftName SummerSkin.bmp WinterSkin.bmp

(first skin is for summer missions, second is for winter missions).
