Enjoy, it arrived this morning to Refuel at ( East Midlands and should depart tomorrow, but was taking on or dropping of cargo too.. Snapped these on a lousy weather day, but at least this time there was no fog http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I use this one on my Canon 350 D for most, though a couple of the lower shots are on my Sony F717 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif see link

I find it a cracking lens and tend to use it all the time
especially when it can knock out stuff like this http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Those are the best ones, sweat actually pours on them from the workmanship giving it a protective layer aswell as a shinier coat of finish. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Interesting - I thought SAFAIR went out of business in the late 90's. Down here they were doing a lot of the military runs to the bush war in Angola. Maybe they're still doing thosse covert things http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

Nice pics - that Antonov is a beeeg booger

Safair were based here with two Hercs shown up until about 2 years ago f memory serves me correctly, which are now operated under the Air Contractors banner, this one was used as Oil Support Aircraft to ferry equipment worldwide to any maritime oil spillage... hence the oil droplet over the water........... When it was in lately it was wearing the Contractors markings and the tail logo had gone..

Unbeleivable, what a monster.
I fell asleep once laying in the shade of a C-5 Galaxy on a long wait in Brindizi Italy, I had inspected the plane thuroughly before that nap tho.
I had an AN-126 Condor buzz my head as it landed in Kabul.
What a big plane.
But THIS hog beats them all.
OMG. WTF. What a big-*** plane!
It looks like the one that hauled the Russian Space Shuttle Energia, or Buran or something like that.
Cool. Nice pics.

It's one and the same M2morris, used to haul the shuttle and is the worlds biggest aircraft...

I have a load of shots of it departing that I will post if anyones interested, have an airborne shot on a deep blue sky as well as a PC wallpaper if anyone wants me to post it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

VW HoldenB

It was fitted out before delivery and you just gotta see the inside of that AN2, it has a full veneered cocktail cabinet, leather seating and a VIP cabin that would put any modern exec jet to shame http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I remember watching the 225 come in to Gander International Airport, Newfoundland when I was a kid. The approach path was right over the town so I would see it maybe once every month. Most noiseless aircraft I've ever seen or heard on landing approach.
