Yesterday I started to play AC 2, and after several hours I can confirm that the game suffers from screen tearing. And I'm not paranoid, I confirmed my suspicions with multiple users. It seems a shame that Ubisoft has done with PS3 users.I hope that soon resolved with a patch, or this will be the last time I buy a multiplatform game edited by Ubisoft.

I've had lots of screen tearing too, to the point where is simply unplayable. I want a patch for this ASAP or at LEAST some word from Ubisoft, their involvement on this issues will decide if I'll keep buying Ubisoft products on the future, fix it or lose your costumers.

The reviews on gametrailers or ign, etc. not talk about it, I guess they reviewed the Xbox 360 version. Ubisoft dirty strategy.

What i don't get is the PS3 version was used in all the demonstration vids(at least thats what i heard) and they looked amazing so why the hell is the PS3 version failing http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
I haven't got it yet but am getting the BE for PS3 tomorrow and it sucks hearing that there are some serious problems with it.
I really hope Ubi are getting these complaints because they really shouldn't exist.

some people aren't seeing the problem so it may just be certain models of PS3.

you have to think over the time they have made changes to fix the hardware, the most notable being removing the PS2 chip that use to be in the original 60gig model as it caused problems.

I've no idea what model mine is, but i was thinking about getting a slim one by selling my current one. Also mine is only 4OG, does that mean the PS2 chip isn't in it ?

UHOH! I got the original 60GB version. I hope this problem is not for the Europe version of the ps3. American and Europe version had different techniqeus to read ps2 games.

if you don't have anything useful to say keep quiet, also the PS3 is pretty much at the same sales as the 360 now (if not ahead in certain regions) also since the price cut in all regions the PS3 has been out selling the 360 on a month to month basis and multiple times it has out sold the Wii.

so if you do intend to post things taking the **** at least get your facts straight first.
