June 8 1940. I am in command of U-108 IXB. I am patroling off the Spanish coast with the intension of entering the Med. I came across this French small freighter and I ordered attack with the deck gun. After a few shots she was on fire but then it happened: the merchant opened fire! I didn;t close any more and finished her off with some more rounds.
This gunner was very brave! Amongst the blazing fires he kept firing his AA gun at me. We were not damaged but we had to admire his courage. We saluted him.

GWX Gold? It would be helpful when we post action reports to mention the major mod[s] in use. This will help prevent newer members from becoming confused or upset that they are not seeing what we see, simply because they are playing out-of-the-box SH3 or a different mod set. Just a suggestion.

Great pic, by the way. I've yet to see such courage from my enemies. Once they see the Atlantic Wolf emblem on my sub, they abandon ship. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Nice Post!
The Gunners are usually my first target(s) when I go to the deck gun. I run GWX w/most mods, and when we go to guns it is a slugfest. I have had to bury 6 gunners so far http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif because of the accuracy of the Allied gunners. However, once they are silenced the ship is easy prey. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif

Schnell!!!! Schnell!!!!

@Kaleun1961: I use GWX gold. The Atlantic wolf emblem hasn't brought me any luck. I have used for two careeres but both were qiute a disaster. My lucky emblem is the Iron Cross

We mariners are a superstitious lot. When we find something that works, we stick with it. It's bad luck to change a ship's name or emblem.
