Hi, every custom made mission have readme file, there you will find path for placing the files (\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles\Missions... ).After it you just select it from single missions menu. If it is campaign, you need to start new camp. select nationality and name of campaign.

hope it helps
happy new year!

If you have the downloaded mission, extract it into your "missions" folder in FB/PF.
There you will see three further folders "net" "campaign" and "single" choose which folder you wish to extract to (net has three further sub-folders) and extract into that folder. You can of course extract into all the folders so that you can use the mission online and in offline play as well as tweak them in Full Mission Builder.

Sometimes they are even in zip files which automatically place the files in the correct folder. Unfortunately, I've encountered more than a few missions that aren't that way and are without a readme. You should have some idea, though, whether it's a single (offline) mission, a coop, or a dogfight mission. (installing campaigns are a little more complicated, so I'll ignore that)

Look in your game folder and find the 'Missions' folder. Inside it are three folders:

Campaign
Net
Single

In the 'Net' folder there is a 'coop' and a 'dogfight' folder. These are for multiplay (online) missions of those two flavours, although you can play them offline as well. Inside either of those folders, you can add your own subfolder for placing downloaded mission, just to keep them separate. If you've d/l a coop mission, put it in a subfolder in the 'coop' folder. If it's a dogfight mission, a subfolder in 'dogfight' is the place to put it.

If you're not sure what you've downloaded, you can open the .mis file in notepad and look at what's there. If you see one or more [BornPlace#] headings (where # is a number) that is a dogfight mission. If you see headings like:
[Wing]
r0100
g0100
g0101

or:
[r0100_Way]
NORMFLY 85600.53 74994.65 500.00 300.00
NORMFLY 140322.26 74579.00 500.00 300.00
NORMFLY 185414.22 74763.88 500.00 300.00
NORMFLY 184612.90 4353.96 500.00 300.00
LANDING 113387.93 22631.54 0 0

that's a coop or a single mission. Single missions will have a 'player' entry under the [MAIN] heading.

If it's a single mission (for offline use) it should be placed in a subfolder in the 'single' folder, either in the correct country folder (if you know the country), or you can make your own subfolder for downloaded missions.

To play single missions, select 'Single' from the main menu, then select the country, or your own folder, from the list, and select the mission.
