I am wondering? On my first install I started a USNavy fighter campain. I got a nice airfield that I started my missions from.

Then I reinstall and start what I think is the same campaign? Start from a carrier. So is everything random with these campaigns?

Because the odds are quite uneven. One flight I have 12 zeros on my ***. The other one sends me on a recon mission for hours and where there is zero action. Yes zero as in no Zeros http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Another one I am attacked and decide to go for bombers so aim for altitude from take off. Get up to 4000 feet just to see the bombs almost hitting my left wing when I was like 60 metres away http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Not a chance I could have saved that carrier which indead got sunk.

I am playing as junior something third easiest. I do get some kills like 3 seros and three bombers so far on my third mission.

Otherwise which do you guys go for first. Fighters or bombers?

Your mission role is a little bit random, but they're not 100% dynamic. You can't change the course of the war, but in theory the more enemy aircraft you kill on average, the fewer enemy aircraft there'll be in future missions. Similarly, if you let all your buddies get killed in every mission, pretty quickly you'll find yourself flying with very little support until replacements catch up with losses.

In theory the same applies to ground targets. If you kill every ground unit in sight in every mission in a bomber campaign, you should find the missions become spread further apart or there are fewer targets to hit in upcoming missions.
