What the hill is up with these friggin' "dial-up" servers?! 19 kb/sec download?!?! Come the frick on, man!!

I can download nearly 400 MB/sec with my service, and I have to wait on ol' granny servin' a crumb at a time?

I want to fly the Do-335 now, not at 20:30!!!

I was really hopinfg for a bit torrent option from 3d gamers. They have done this in the past with large files, but not today. Finally got lucky and found a speed of 65 this afternoon from Austrailia. Still took over 30 minutes, but just glad to have it.

Bit torrent would make so much sense for the first week after a patch is released, since that's when most people download it. I don't know why the d/l sites (or even the game publishing houses) don't use that option more often. Think of how much it would save them in bandwidth costs...

Well, 1 hour and 50 minutes later I've got mine, and I'm as glad to have it, too.

Is it just me, or is the game running a bit smoother than on 4.02?

"Nice patch there, buddy!"

Took a little over ten minutes from filefront for me http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

What I do is start three or four downloads from different sites and then cancel the slowest ones. Good chance you'll find a fast connection that way.

Took me 20-30 minutes at about 16:40 UTC yesterday, i.e. twenty minutes after release, on the University's connection.

150k/s from Filefront. Austrailian server, I think.

It's not always the closest server to you that is the fastest.
