I noticed that flying Bf109G with manual pitch control during the climb as more altitude you gain less pitch percentage you have to set in order to keep the engine's RPS constant. It must happen because the density of the air reduces. If I switch to automatic pitch control does it adjust the pitch to the altitude also? And what other advantages do I have by controlling the pitch by myself. It seems to me that I climb faster, but it is very subjective.
