Yea, my jaw dropped when i saw Oleg arguing with a couple of ungrateful whiners! I wish he wouldn`t give them the attention or at least respond once and if they give lip-STOP! Don`t try reasoning with the dumb kids. The whiners will DESTROY IL2/FB and they don`t care because they`re on the net and NO-ONE can ultimately make them pay.

So say Oleg quits the flight sim genre altogether? Say he CANCELS BOB!? Then we all lose. And why? Because of a couple of stupid whiners who caught Oleg at just the right time of day when everyone else was away and pissed him off!

stop the crying people, the addon's will come when they're done. if you ordered a steak done medium well would you request it be pulled off the grill if it was still rare?

i read the other thread on simhq and the idea that a 300 page manual and a $150 dollar price tag would weed out the crybabies was.........hilarious. people are crying about the game at 1/3rd that cost. can you imagine the complaints when someone dropped that kind of cash?

howbout all you biznatches that aren't satisfied go play something else till the dedicated server and addons are ready? stop w/the entitlement attitude and grow up. i realize that some of your parents didn't teach you that sometimes you can't have what you want when you want it, but get real. pissing off the developer gets you exactly nowhere.

irl that kind of harassment and aggravation would get you smacked upside the head. let's not forget there are other people at the opposite end of your internet connection. have little understanding and respect.

It's okay to disagree with Oleg and tell him you don't like a certain aspect of the game or what he is doing but at the same time if you do this you need to offer an alternative solution. It's called contructive criticism which is perfectly rational and acceptable in any fair and normal exchange of views. Many of these "whiners" simply did not do this. Thus Oleg should never have responded to their questions and comments its as simple as that.

Maybe not deaf or blind, but we've got MORE than our fair share of the 'dumb' ones...http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Tarring and Feathering
The practice of applying hot tar and a coating of feathers to a whiner is largely an American practice. The intent is clearly to intimidate. Dabbing hot tar on bare skin can cause painful blistering and efforts to remove it usually resulted in pulling out hairs. The use of solvents to loosen the tar is also unpleasant in the extreme, especially when a substance like turpentine comes in contact with burned skin. Application of the tar over the whiner's clothing is rightly deemed a lesser punishment than placing it on bare skin.

Tossing with a blanket

The practice of tossing a whiner with a blanket is largely a Spanish practice. The intent is clearly to punish and mock the whiner at a time. In 'Don Quixote de la Mancha', Sancho Panza is tossed in a blanket as punishment for not paying the bill in a country inn. The victim was tossed up once and again until he threw all the contents of his stomach. If he tried to escape, he was violently put back in the center of the blanket, and tossed again until he got completely sick and disoriented. The sport usually finished when the tossers lost control and the whiner fell out of the blanket, hitting hard the ground, and usually breaking one of his limbs or hurting his nose or teeth. If he didn't and the tossers got tired, they simply tossed him up a last time and let the blanket fall while he was still in the air, with the common result of the whiner breaking his head or his neck against the floor.
