Not bad for a point eh? And im English. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif When im not balling i also play football (the real kind). Taking up fencing at the moment. Everyone has their own style so its fun to figure out their strengths and weaknesses and when and where to attack.

I like individual sports as opposed to team sports (though I like soccer). My favorite sport has to be Cross Country followed by distance events in Track. For the most part, any kind of running.

Surfing.

Nothing compares to it, best sport in the world. Once you've tried it you are hooked for life. It's hard to explain it to a non surfer but there is just nothing compared to making the steep drop on a huge glassy wave first thing in the morning. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

The Blue and Gold men from Otago just trounced the vile (okay, 2nd favourite team) Cantabrians a couple of days ago in teh New Zealand national Provincial Championship semi-finals. I'd love to build a road bike but it's too dangerous to ride on the road in my neck of the woods. This is my first nice bike. Before the GT I rode an old Fuji that was beat to death. I can ride in comfort for hours on the GT. The Marzocchi forks have rebound adjustment for a smooth ride. A huge difference for sure. In my opinion it's much cheaper to build you're own bike and you can choose better components too.

Like Lucius I was really into Judo in my younger days. I really liked the controlled violence. Then it finally got to the point that the knee, elbow, ribs, teeth, fingers, neck and nose had taken too much abuse.

Now I stick to road biking. Got a real nice Italian stallion; a De Rosa with a top end Campagnolo groupo.
