View Full Version : Joystick and CH Pedal Games

I'm looking for a game that utilises both joystick and pedals (apart from flight sims).
Ideally i should be able to use the pedals for some controls and joystick for other movements. This is simply to sharpen my co-ordination. ANy ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, i just had a thought... Can Quake, etc.. be configured to use joystick and pedals?

Thx all...

If you play BF2, you can set the controls of the vehicles to joystick and rudders. Dunno how good this is, though.

UnrealTournament was built to utilize Joystick-Controls since the very first release. The next version, hopefully being released at the end of the year, will contain so realistic physics, that the vehicles are recommended to be controlled with a joystick or wheel. Especially the fast jeeps, as one of the devs said in a recent interview http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

The aged Mechwarrior series was fully functional with controller input as well. They also supported force feedback which was kinda cool in a heated battle.

www.freeallegiance.org (http://www.freeallegiance.org) is a space simulator. Pretty fun and utilizes both hotas and pedals.

Thanks you guys are awesome...... will give these a go and let you know.... I'm practicing to get into the airlines as a pilot and one of the tests they do is co-ordination (Eg: Joystick horizontal movement, pedals vertical and vice versa....). Much appreciate your feedback.

I miss the mech warrior games and space sims. Imagine one if it was as well made as the IL-2 series of games.
