Lovely preview film on Check Six with the Dauntlesses and the USS Intrepid and jeep carrier.

I had the unusual thought that if the people figures could be animated (Jaws, faces, eyes and fingers) and other characters could be made, including female, this could lead to a whole new form of animation.

Films telling stories of WWII using the games as a means of animation and then some computer animation for close up, people scenes etc.

There would have to be sets made for buildings, carrier hangers, etc.

Oleg, you could be responsible for a means to making your own Great Patriotic War stories which inspried you to do IL-2 in the first place.

Just a thought!

I think this genre is known as Machinema...and we already do a great job with whats already provided. Its actually kind of part of the genre to not have true actors either...but added options are always good http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The Japanese work is beautiful!

I think that it is possible to do WWI and WWII films with believable computer dogfights.

Rumor has it that Peter Jackson will follow 'King Kong' with a more true to the novel remake of 'The Blue Max'. We got to get these guys together. Peter Jackson is a die-hard WWI Aviation buff.

hi,
the 'LightWave3' design software is also usefull for game development (see list of games like Doom + more)
it's not the problem of hardware it's a way of correct design..
example: virtual pilots (gamer) view in exact designed cockpits..
that's what the jap. designer told me by mail some times ago !
