I clocked out for lunch yesterday, grabbed work's Sony, and ran over to the small local air show.

Here are some pics. I have more, If you want them let me know and we can file share the whole 35 megs of them .

What types of aircraft are on first picture (blue nose) and on last (blue yellow confederate markings two seater? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif)?

The Taylorcraft L-2 is actually an Aeronca L-3.

The Avenger does suprise as to how big it is.

I assume you are from the St. Charles or St. Louis area. My wife was raised on the farm across the road from Smart Field.

I also found that the P-38 was sure huge the first time I got close to one!! They set up high off of the ground too...really high.

Good catch There was a taylor the too. Let me get pic up and Ill show it too.

I had knee surgery yesterday and I haven't felt like chasing hosting them up yet as Sparx offered.

any1 know what the veh to the rt of the Bren is? looks a little like an early armored car, but i cant see enough of it to tell.

In that photo, in the background, I can see the tail of the L-2...beyond the L-3 and what looks like a Champ!
