Actually a whole bunch of the CEM controls no longer work or never did. Supercharger controls on P47 don't work either. Feathering prop doesn't work on the He111..(at least not properly)..../i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

It's only funny til someone loses an eye....then it's hilarious

p47 is auto

p40 field mod has russian engine, you can use mix control with that one

It is disengenuous to say that the P-40 mixture control is correct if it only works on the field mod. P-39 also lost mixture control setting. The correct answer is that this needs to be fixed on both plane types since 1.1b - period. Supercharger control on P-47 was almost automatic in reality according to 1C Maddox and so it was modeled as automatic in the game (This info in README).

That sounds about right ,But I do remember reading that the pilot had to keep a close eye on the turbo's rpm so not to overspeed it.but I may be mistaken

Not to steer this thread off, but I have to ask. Has anyone ever had engine damage (from incoming fire) disable the ability to change the mix or prop pitch? It happened to me today for the first time in a La-7.
