A big thanx to the "German" pilots attacking us and "Allied" pilots defending us... made it a very rewarding mission.

Amazing movie! Nice action, love the documentary feeling. Always nice to such group actions on servers. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Nice movies!

Am I seeing things, or are those lower turrets on the B-25?! A mod or did I miss something in the plane set?

Early B25s had a retractable lower turret that was operated by a gunner in the fuselage and aimed through a periscope/mirror arrangement.

They were deleted from later models as they tended to make the gunner suffer serious motion sickness.

The turrets were usually removed from the aircraft that originally had them. Most were re-used as the chin turret on the B-17G, as I recall.

And it's not a mod plane as such, it is an officially released AI plane, done years ago.

Very nice! Surely must be a thrill to pull off a successful mission. Lovely insight into that segment of history.

Yep, I just went back and looked again at the planeset - it's there, B-25C-NA. I remember now some folks have a mod to fly AI aircraft.

Makes me wonder if that nearly intact B25C they pulled out of the lake here in the US (North Carolina?) is being restored.
