Hello,

im SH3 new player, im playing with 42% realism, i did 5 patrols in 1940 from Brest around Irland, Channel... well everwhere my map sohws me enmy cargo activity.... i checked scapa flow, dover, many other Ports, i saw NO ship at all ....

When i traval with my U-boat, i got all my crew on brigde to check for some contacts... but i used high time compression speed... Is it why i cant see a ship ? Im waiting for some contacts to lower time compression

When i reach my mission location, it always says that it is "incomplete" (breifing/orders pannel), even 48 hours in the correct grid.

What have i have to do to get the chance to meet an enemy ? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Thx you !

Quadrant AM north of Ireland. Go there and wait. The convoys have to enter the small street between Ireland and England here and there will be convoys. But watch out for swallow water. There are some areas that are not really suited for deep dive and evade. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif

(you should also watch out for fighters and recon-aircraft in this area, especially 1942 & later)

Welcome to SH III forums.

When you see a contact on the map which is a red square with a line through it indicating the direction it traveling , head for it.

You must predict WHERE it will be by the time you arrive at it becuase it would have moved due to it being a traveling vessel.

You must weigh up your trajectories and a bit of triganometry ( not too much though LOL, you dont need to be A mathematician ) to work out all your angles of approach.
