I came across some pics in another forum from an airshow that was held in New Zealand just recently.
The main theme was WW1, but also on display were aircraft from the 20's, 30's as well as a couple WW2 mounts.

I thought some of you here may like to take a look...

I think it was the scaf the guy borrowed was an actual one used by the red barron.

It was a great couple of days -plenty of WW-1 action with 5 Fokker Dr-1s ,a Camel,Brisfit& Dh-2.WW-2 iron was:2 P-40s,a Corsair,Mustany & little "Super " Mustang,& also a C-47 gave rides as well!Well attended friendly crowd on small airstrip& the weather held for 2 1/2 days of flying!Fun Stuff!Took hundreds of pics..............

Cool pics. Especially interesting to to see the Flying Tigers scheme after all the interest generated on these boards by Chuck_Older's campaign. Thanks.
