I've been trying to find an answer for this for a very long time, with no luck.

I thought I read a long time ago that the stick will hold on profile in it's memory. I took this to assume it's always there and ready to go. But whenever I restart my computer, I have to go into foxy and change windows mode to program mode to get the profile to work.

Can someone explain to me if there is a way to not have to go through this step after a restart, and how it do it.

Thanks

Try the Cougar forums (http://forums.frugalsworld.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=8) at Frugals world. The question about Cougars that can't be answered has yet to be asked there http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

Coffee, did you try going into your HOTAS Cougar Control Panel? It should be an icon on your desktop. Look in the "Startup and Calibration tab, and make sure that, under Axis Response, User Mode is checked. Next to that under Emmulation mode, check "On". That should do it. OH yeah, make sure you hit "Save" next to that under Profiles.

Razor, you are my hero.

I bought my Cougar when it first came out and have never figured this out, even though I have asked it many times in the past.

Did what you suggested, restarted, and walla. No more having to go through that step.

Thank you sir ~S~
