Dog1 is the best one IMO. Kuban is nice too.

I've always felt that the Winter Stalingrad map has the smoothest gameplay to it. There isn't much in the way of terrain and if you avoid fighting directly over the city of Stalingrad at low altitude, you get great FPS.

The smallest, flattest map with the least ammount of shorline (online islands sucks) will play the smoothest.

Well, I prefer lots of mountains, not the fastest map.

I like mountains with clouds that run into them.

I've heard complaints about the mountain map. Personally, I like it, but some say its laggy.

I'll probably start with smolensk since it has plenty of airfields to work with.

the online 5 map is awesome .. the one that's the southern shore of finland .......

.. those two islands at the south have airbases .. nothing but two small islands and miles and miles of lag free water for everyone to enjoy (and not make any emergency landings in .. hope you brought your dingys!!! /i/smilies/16x16_robot-tongue.gif
