Greetings all and Happy New Year!

I'm having trouble getting Viewplus Plug-in working.

I've downloaded it to the F.B. file on C Drive. However, every time I click on it, all I get is a collection of question marks, the word "windows" and and two click boxes; one says "cancel", the other says "O.K."

When I press the O.K, button, the computer restarts but that appears to be that, nothing else.

Any advice greatfully accepted.

Cheers!

P.S. I'm also having probs with the swastike enabler problem. Again, any recommendations much appreciated.

I'm not familiar with Veiwplus. What does it do, and where did you get it from? There are no official plugins for this game, although some do work along side it. Which "swastika enabler" program are you using? Mudmovers.com Essential Files section (http://www.mudmovers.com/Sims/FB/fb_essential_files.htm) has at least two, Il2 Stab and Il2 Manager 4.0, my personal favorite.

Good hunting,

You can find this in the Kick A$$ department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Farmingdale, Long Island and Evansville, Indiana. Retails for about $82,997.95. It's got a turbo-supercharger, all metal control surfaces with blunt nosed ailerons, and a hair trigger. That's right, shop smart, shop Republic. YOU GOT THAT!? Don't know anything about ViewPlus, most people here use NewView I think.

It's available at Mudmovers (http://www.mudmovers.com) and there is an excellent guide (written by clint-ruin) here:

http://www.mudmovers.com/Sims/FB/fb_newview.htm

with link to download the latest version.

Commrades,

thanks for your input, and very useful it was too.

Yes, "Viewplus" and NewView are one and the same program, apart from the fact that the former doesn't work, so don't waste headspace on it gentlemen. As for why it should have been renamed, I haven't the foggiest.

I got "Viewplus" from Mudmovers yesterday (1/1/'04) but a revisit today and lo! It's no longer there!?

Nevermind, I shall follow the links you suggested and see what happens.

Happy hunting!

No! Wait! I'm wrong!

Viewplus was (is)a Chinese program that changes the P.O.V. by smaller degrees, using the joystick hat. It certainly wasn't as intricate as NewView seems to be.

I plugged it in last year and it seemed to work just fine.
