It think the stall recover is a bit too hard.

According the FAF wartime documents it wasn't so
hard to recover campared to other ac's.

U must be completly out of control, then it is hard to recover, but thats with every a/c, and some are lost when you stall them...if it just slips away, NP at all...

Yeah G50 is super squirrly. I just cut power, hard opposite rudder and positive aileron and try to get the nose pointed toward the gound ASAP but even a plane like the P-51 seems to be able to recover from a stall easier.

all ac should stall like the g.50 mustang does so does the wildcat p38 jug ki84 and many others all ac should have difficult recover stalls.

instead of making the g.50 a 5-10m instant flip around and recover fm how about making all ac have difficult to recover stalls.

This was done to many ac like the zeke ki84 ki43 corsair which reduced rudder effect people just dont understand and fail to notice these changes.

Less arcade more difficulty and E bleed penalty for putting a ac over its edge. bring back flat spins as well not just from missing rudder or shot out rudder cables.

I'm all for the more realistic stalls its just frustrating to watch other bipes breeze through UFO manuevers while the G50 doesn't even come close. Some planes definitely feel more realistic (p51, fw 190, ki-84, ki-61, zero, hellcat, etc.) but then other flight models haven't matured much at all since they were introduced into the game and it shows. I don't really fly it that much so I don't really care but every time I've tried to fly it I've been dissapointed with it when compared to other planes. You can usually find at least one thing to give a fighter an edge over an opponent. Sometimes the situation allows you to use it sometime you have to turn tail, hit the deck, and run like hell, but the G50 just seems like a lame pig in any situation.

b-25 isnt hard to get out of the spin if you know what youre doing...
lets say your spinning right...idle the left engine... and apply full power to the right engine and apply full left rudder and youll get out of it!works everytime!

cool http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

most of the main aircraft handle well... cr42 back in the day a stall really was fatal in 90% of the time :\

ill dig up my dads book which has section on cr42, see how its supposed to handle

I don't know whta you're problems with the G.50 are...I often fly them online, and can sometimes surprise spitfires and La7's with it...It's and slow, but well turning, forgiving, underestimated aircraft...
You have no chance against a really well trained spit or La pilot, but noobs and dumb pilots can be the victims of a G.50 every day...

Yes, but you can't afford to fly it to its limits, because if you stall you're in deep trouble.

I'm perfectly fine with that http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif As it has been said, in RL, you don't mess with stalls unless you know what you're doing. Flatspins aren't fun, I can only guess how horrible it must be in a heavy fighter (heavy compared to modern-day aerobatics planes).

Not EVERY aircraft is hard to get out of a spin in RL, so why should every aircraft spin like a G50 or Mustang or whatever?

Perhaps the G50s stall is worse than the real thing - I have no experience in it so that part I can't comment on, but all aircraft should have different stall characteristics as their RL counterparts actually differ.

I would think (off the top of my head) that if the G50 is quite light and relatively "draggy" like biplanes are, that it shouldn't be too difficult to get out of a stall - unless there is some specific known problem with it.

hmm other thing about g-50 is irl it had sustained turn of 16-17 seconds (comparable to I-16, only I-153/gladiator beeing superior ).. it does not feel like so in the game, i would estimate it about 18-19 seconds game.. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
