There is something about S.E 5 that appeals to me http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Indeed. One of my WW1 favourites.

Long nose and cockpit as far back as possible. Always a winning combination http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The SE5 is called the "Hunchback" in Wings of War!Its my favourite plane in the (somewhat arcade-ish!)game because when you fly through a big green diamond in the sky you get an engine boost which seems to be somewhat like when the starship Enterprise engages warp drive!!!!(or maybe a Honda Vtec when the fireworks start)

I had Wings of War. It's actually a .... um.... cute little WWI arcade game. I know there are modifications done to it so it may be more realistic. aka. no dots or rockets. I've not been to the Sim HQ WoW forum in quite a few months. The last time I was, some folks were trying to make campaigns. They've modified the flight models too.

It would never replace IL2, but it was fun and the graphics were pretty darn good.

I gave it to my father so he could fly something not as taxing as IL2.

even an empty bottle of Champagne left from last night's party is decent ammo when used against these kites http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Cool, your picture showed a more up close look at the firing mechanism, which is the big question I had on how they fired it.

I thought at first that it was the first version of a rear gunner and he would lay up there and shoot, while the pilot worked the lower gun. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif
