Hello,

there's an excelent training video for recommended attacks against heavy bombers here:

http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=1812595429445699346

It is well worth a look. Its also very interisting to compare the shown tactics of the above video against the ones shown in this well known video:

http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-741194537636782...ype=search&plindex=2 (http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-7411945376367826&q=luftwaffe+guncam&total=31&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=2)

Sorry if it had been posted already.

Cheers,

Brotrob

The thing that struck me most about this film apart from the snooty training officer and his primitive teaching aids, was the amount of bloody smoking that his pupils were doing http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif , the place must have been absolutely stinking, not to mention the effect it had on camera equipment http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif .

410 gallons per hour http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif
back then!!

it also seams like that the gunner arrangement must have been state of the art back then.
sounds like its very effektive.
only!
it has only 4 guns that can shoot downwards and 8 upwards.
i know where i want to attack from.

id say the only way to deal with heavy bombers is Head on or nearly headon's

in some of the cases the Fighter was almast done the banking shooting before breaking off.
dont do that, you should be very careful not to go too slow around the tail as the tail gunner have exelent shots,

i say some of the guys broke off way too late,

Vampires a cool plane
did the 1948 jets have same burning problems as the 1944 german jets?

Passive Kamikazes and their "second hand smoking" victims (non smokers in that room). http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Don't think that's bad.. I've just watched a History channel thing on Anti-terrorism weapons.
some neat stuff, but wow.. the morons who that are completely brainwashed stand there and tell us ...OK that was ~2-3 years ago... Now's a different story. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

No need to all go into orbit, but it's an example how humans never actually learn anything. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif
