Just watched the second episode of Foyles War, The White Feather.
I was struck by a comment made by Charles Dance, playing an Oswald Mosely-like character, that the first two British Pilots shot down in WW11 (on a raid on Kiel) where Blackshirts (ie belonging to a Nazi Type party in Britain).
Ive done a quick google search on this but couldnt find anything.
Does anyone know if this is true?

I've been checking this series out from the library.

Pretty good, entertainment.
